Over the last 4.5 years, since October 2019, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has provided funding support to the government of Zimbabwe through the Kunda Nqob’iTB (KN-TB) programme, a US$15million, 5-year cooperative agreement (CA) between USAID and the Union Zimbabwe Trust (UZT). The CA has been implemented through a consortium of four local partners led by UZT as the prime and three other local partners, namely; Jointed Hands Welfare Organization (JHWO), Hospice Palliative Care Association of Zimbabwe (HOSPAZ) and Baines Occupational Health Services (BOHS).
The programme sought to implement locally generated solutions to improve TB prevention, diagnosis and care services across eight priority districts with high disease burden for TB and gaps in treatment outcomes. As part of project close-out, UZT seeks the services of a Consultant/Media company to document project achievements through a legacy video documentary and booklet.
Objective of Consultancy
To document and produce 1 x 5-10-minute video documentary and booklet showcasing project contribution to the national TB-HIV response.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop the documentary script and outline in consultation with client.
- Provide videography, photography, editing services
- Produce an edited video documentary in consultation with client
- Publish a legacy booklet of project with key highlights of project achievements, best practices and lessons learned.
The service provider will be required to have the following:
- 2-5 years’ experience working in similar field with traceable referees
- Demonstrated experience in producing development work related documents for publication and documentaries for national and international organizations
- Good technical capacities (state of the art filming equipment including drone camera to ensure smooth and high-quality production
