Advocate Gondai Sithole
Founding Trustee & Board Chairperson
Mr. Gondai Sithole is an advocate for the peoples’ right to live in a society in which good public health practice is a priority. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Honours degree from the University of Zimbabwe and a member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe. He is a Partner at Kantor and Immerman Legal Practitioners. Between October 2013 and December 2019, he has served as a Board Legal Advisor to the Students and Youths Working on Reproductive Health Action Team (SAYWHAT), a non-governmental organization that focuses on sexual and reproductive health (SRH) issues.

Dr Barnet Nyathi

Dr Nyathi is a Medical doctor with Diplomas in Public health and Venereology. He has extensive experience in Public health, having worked for International Union Against TB and Lung diseases as Country Director in Zimbabwe; the United Nations as UNAIDS Country Programme Advisor for South Africa and Intercountry Team for Eastern and Southern Africa. He had a stint as Director of Health Services, City of Bulawayo in Zimbabwe.

Dr Davies Dhlakama

Dr Dhlakama is a Public Health Specialist with a long history of working in the Ministry of Health and Child Care for more than three decades, assuming the role of coordinating health services across all tiers of the health delivery system, from district through to national level. He has special interest in health services management and community health systems. Dr Dhlakama is a medical doctor with a Masters’ degree in Public health.

Mr Israel Ndlovu
Current Founding Trustee Member
Mr. Ndlovu is a Chartered Management Accountant with more than 37 years’ experience in financial management, business investments, local government finance, inter-governmental fiscal relationships and project management. He holds an Accounting degree from the University of Zimbabwe. He served as the Chief of Party for a USAID/Zimbabwe project working with local governments and civil society in Zimbabwe. He served for 11 years as the City Treasurer/Financial Director for the City of Bulawayo specializing in financial services, accounting, management, local governance, and capacity building. Mr. Ndlovu has extensive expertise in designing, appraising and monitoring financial and related management systems and has played a key role in capacity building for Local Authorities in Zimbabwe by widening their income base.

Ms Sithembiso Maseko
Current Founding Trustee Member
Ms. Maseko is a Wellness Coordinator with public and private health experience spanning over 38 years. Her passion is training in community and occupational health, programming health and wellness initiatives and conducting social research. She holds an Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) NUST and a BA Nursing Degree (UNISA). She has Diplomas in Community and Occupational Health. She is a Member of the Zimbabwe Occupational Health Nurses Association (ZOHNA) Advisory Board, Treasurer of the Zimbabwe Institute of Occupational Health Practitioners (ZIOSH) and the past President of ZOHNA. She represented the Employers’ Confederation of Zimbabwe (EMCOZ) in the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) of the Global Fund 2015-2021 and had an opportunity to provide the oversight role.

Ms Sefelipelo Bhebhe

Ms. Bhebhe is a Public Health Nutritionist and Hubert Humphrey fellow from Emory University. She
holds a BSc degree in Nutrition Education from the University of Sierra Leone and a Master’s degree
in Public Health from the University of Zimbabwe. She has a certificate in Systemic Counselling from
the Zimbabwe Institute of Systemic Therapy. She is a member of the Zimbabwe Health Services
Board, with excellent managerial skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Ms Tariro Kutadza
Current Founding Trustee Member
Ms. Kutadza is a self-motivated professional with vast experience in public health. She holds a
Master’s degree in Social Work and a Bachelor of Technology, Education Management degree. She
also has Diplomas in Project Planning and Management, HIV and AIDS Prevention and Education. She
is a National HIV and TB Master Trainer on psychosocial care and support for TB patients, children,
young people, key and vulnerable communities. She has extensive experience in community health
work in areas of HIV, TB, Nutrition, Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights,
Environmental Health and Hygiene, Non-Communicable Diseases and Epidemic Preparedness and
Response.
